How to measure an angle?

Types of Angles

Right angle

When two straight lines are perpendicular to each other or make 90 degrees with each other, they are said to be at right angle. Right angles are often shown as a bx in the corner of the turn of an angle. Thus the right angle is exactly 90 degrees.

Acute angle

When two straight lines make an angle which is greater than zero degrees but less than 90 degrees, then the angle formed is called an Acute angle. Also known as interior angles, acute angles are the smallest of all angles. Triangles usually have acute angles.

Obtuse angle

When two straight lines form an angle that is greater than 90 degrees, then the angle formed is called an Obtuse angle. These angles are known as the largest angles and often found in shapes like pentagons, octagons, and triangles.
